Dear friends,
The High End show has long been the most important week of the year for us at EMM Labs. I have been attending since 2015 and every single time, with the work of my family and our team on display for the world, I feel something that is difficult to put into words.
This year is different in ways that mean a great deal to me personally.
The show is moving to Vienna. For most people that is simply a change of venue. For me it is something more. Vienna is the city where my father, Ed Meitner, grew up. It is where his curiosity about electronics first took hold, where the foundation of everything we do today was quietly being laid long before any of us knew it. To bring EMM Labs back to that city, to that context, feels like a homecoming of sorts. I had the privilege of visiting the ACV in July 2025 and I left convinced it is the right stage for a show of this caliber.
Late in 2025, I was officially appointed Managing Director of EMM Labs. I will be honest with you. I sat with that for a while before it felt real. This is my father's life's work. It is also the work of people who have given years of their lives to building something worth being proud of, and that history sits with me every single day. To be entrusted with its future is not something I take lightly. I have made peace with one thing above all else. When this company succeeds, and it will, that belongs to the team, to the engineers, to the people who show up and care. When we fall short, that is on me. I would not have it any other way.
We have been planning our biggest show in the history of EMM Labs for many months now. In just over a week we find out what all of that work looks like across four rooms, with partners we cannot thank enough for their collaboration and trust. This year we are also bringing more members of our team to Vienna than we ever have before. We are a small, family run business and the people making this trip are the people who make EMM Labs what it is, every single day. To have them there, representing everything we have built together, means more than I can easily say.
I am proud of where we are as a company and genuinely excited about where we are going.
Thank you for being on this journey with us. Ten years on from my first High End, I arrive in Vienna with a deeper sense of purpose than I have ever had.

Improved source detection so the unit can better identify when playback is coming from UPnP apps such as mConnect and Audirvana.
Added improved handling for Roon playback when changing sample rates, helping create smoother transitions between tracks.
Improved network handling when the unit’s IP address changes, helping maintain more stable communication on the network.
NEW FEATURE: My Live Internet Radio!
The latest version of the mConnect Control app now includes a new feature called “My Live Internet Radio.”
This function allows users to manually add internet radio stream URLs directly into the application, including supported formats such as .pls and .m3u8 streaming links.
